Recruitment Advertising Designs

K2 Strategies is a relatively new client for Sowerby. They approached the media for a recommendation when they were looking for a 'creative' ad agency.

When discussing K2 Strategies' requirements, we established that they needed a recruitment advertising design for an urgent project on behalf of one of their clients and needed to advertise in the next available issues of the building and construction press. The style needed to work for all of their advertising - not just for this specific project, so we needed to be as flexible as possible. With no set style already in place and no guidelines to work from, we were given an open brief in terms of preparing a concept / design to work based on the following key points: exciting, captivating, magnetic, visually stunning, to work with K2 Strategies' logo - which is in the shape of a mountain.

We decided to continue with the mountain theme to keep inline with their corporate look and feel and brainstormed on ideas relating to the word mountain. Instant words which came to mind included: mountain, peak, sport, climb, challenge, highest point and adrenalin. We found a stunning visual to work within the chosen size of ad, and the words just started to flow.

We presented 2 initial designs for consideration. We also presented the client with a new strap line - 'Working with People. Building True Partnerships' as we quickly established that K2 Strategies shares similar values to Sowerby - a company hell bent on providing high customer service and traditional values such as loyalty and utter professionalism - no matter how large or small our clients' businesses.
